Yes our city celebrates the Carnaval de Merida or Mardi Gras whatever you want to call it. No I´m not a fan, haven´t been to one of them since I´m 14, because of several reasons first one is I don´t like crowds, they freak me out, also I don´t like drunk people, specially in huge ammounts, third is loud, very very loud. Yes I do realize I´m the oldest 30 year old ever I don´t care I like my music soft, unless I´m in the privacy of a car doing motor mouth, and last one but not less important I´m freaking scared of clowns, they scare the heck out of me and I am sure there are going to be a gazillion over there so no Carnaval for me thank you very much. The only positive things that Mardi Gras bring at least for me is 2 whole days off, yes so you can get drunk out of your senses and also ask for wednesday off since you have the hangover from hell. So I´ve been off from work since friday and it feels delicious, of course its perfect because with little one here I need all the rest I can get; oh by the way its a she provisional name Zoë, I don´t have any new pictures yet but she is sleeping very well and eating even better, new pictures when she opens her eyes wich should be any minute now.
So tomorrow I´m taking a small break from being a kitty momma and actually crafting right after I change my desk from location, yes that should be fun, considering it weights a lot and is falling apart, yet I still love it.
Also wanted to show something I made a little while ago, its a box to put silverware and I altered it to put my pens, scissors etc on my desk it works awesome.

2Peas Challenge:
Are you creating anything special for Valentine´s Day?
Are you creating anything special for Valentine´s Day?
Well I mentioned before that I was making 500 Valentine´s Day cookies to donate to a animal shelter but that is not going to be possible due conflict of time so I´ll do it on some other ocassion. But we are also making some rice krispies treats on lollipops to sell, so that yould keep us busy.
P.S. I watched my first football game last night and I really liked it, next time I would love to know what is actually hapenning there or at least understand a little, so my team didn´t won wich made me realize that I would be a horrible fan since it devasted me and I didn´t even know who the heck where they, really liked the half time and enjoyed the commercials, spcially the Diet Pepsi Max and Bud with Will Ferrell.
So happy Fat Tuesday to those who celebrate it, get lots of beads for me cause I´m staying home eating cookies and crafting.

Ok, note to moi: make some choco-chip cookies! You dang enabler you!
Also, I so agree on the Mardi Gras crowd. We have a fabulous MG down on Galveston Island (about 45 minutes from me), but I never go because of all those drunk wild crazy peeps. And I finally just bought me some colorful beads and pull them out every year and hang them, LOLOL.
Finally, you had me going for a few secs - thought you were preggers! LOL
I don't blame you for not going to Mardi Gras. I'm not sure what is scarier, drunk crowds or clowns.
I like your silverware box. I have one that is like a basket and I use it for my scissors and pens too.
LOL sorry for the confusion, nope not preggers but Zoe kitty is doing very well!
Yey yummy cookies and I should get some beads and have my own Mardi Gras awesome idea.
And Linda exactly!!
