My earliest memory of scrapbooking....

2 Peas Challenge:
Share your earliest memory from where you start to scrapbook...

The first time I ever heard of scrapbooking was when I was around 20 years old a friend had an Amway catalog and it had a sort of kit, and I ordered it but this girl told me it never arrived so I never got it.

Still I remember I made a Disney album with construction paper and keeping the brochures and everything like a scrapbook (I know the horror construction paper!)

Then I moved to L.A. and lived there for about 3 years and I remembered going to Michaels and Joann´s and looking at stamps and scrapbooking stuff and thinking I wanted to do that but I didn´t have enough money to buy anything or didn´t even know where to start.

When I returned to my hometown and started living with another craftoholic I mentioned to her that I wanted to learn to do that and she told me she had a box of 12x12 paper that she bought on Ebay. I was soo happy about that and well thats how it started before I knew it I was making layouts and getting other people in my hometown addicted to it, and I still have some of that paper from 5 years ago.

I love scrapbooking I wish I had more scrapbooking stuff but I´m so happy with what I have and how much I´ve learned and keep learning everyday.

Wow, love learning about your past experiences. So, you did live over here before. Hey, they make acid free construction paper now, just so you know. It has to say it on the package, though...
