This weekend was a lot of fun, on friday I rented some movies to watch over the weekend while I crafted and it was a great idea, I rented Transformers wich I really liked, funny, exciting and very loud but good, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I really liked it too, funny, sweet no pun intented and left me with a huge chocolate craving, they should rent that movie with a bag of kisses or something, Rent wich I started watching realized wasa musical (I know in what world do I live) and didn´t feel like watching and last but not least Hard Candy wich scared me and a lot, very good movie but not for the faint of heart, really hard subject to deal with and very strong, but liked it too.
But I also crafted, I love movies but can´t leave the crafts behind so on friday I worked on two mini layouts with some of Diana´s pictures when she was a little girl, I wanted to make a 12x12 but the pictures are so small that they get lost in the paper so 6x6 worked really well.
This is a layout painted with diluted green paint and then stamped with acrylic paints too, I masked her name and then put a little coat of yellow added a ribbon and some brads and that was it.
This is the other layout I did, and I love it I have the song "Girls of Summer" by Aersosmith in my head and decided to use a part of the chorus on the layout wich I think comes very appropiate to her personality.
Some other layouts I made, mostly using stamps, glitter, fingers etc, this class is really too much fun, I´m going to be sad when its over and I will have to start a new class so I don´t miss it too much.
I know, I know, I should just give up, knitting was not made for me, but I just can´t, I like it too much to just quit it, I want to be good at it, I don´t care if I have to redo the same scarf over and over again, I have to be able to knitt. I started this today it was suppoused to be a wascloth but now is going to be a thingy to grab hot stuff (can´t remember the name in english), I love that yarn is so happy, it makes me happy to knitt it.Oh well, hope everyone has a great monday and had a great weekend. I´m going to try and watch Rent again and continue my knitting torture.

DO NOT give up the knitting. You aer doing great! the word you were looking for for the pot grabber is a hotpad, silly word when put together, I like the term potgrabber, or how about hotpotgrabber.
