Tutorial para Aplicador de tinta

Several people have asked me if an alcohol ink applicator is a good buy, if you have the money and have the chance to get one easily I guess it is, but if not you can make your own, super easy and best of all with stuff you probably alredy have at home.

Varias personas me han preguntado si un aplicador de tinta es una buena compra, si tienes el dinero y la oportunidad de conseguir uno fácilmente me imagino que si, pero si no, puedes hacer el tuyo de un modo muy fácil y lo mejor con cosas que probablemente ya tienes en casa.

You are going to need:
Van a necesitar:

°Scissors/tijeras
°A wooden block /un bloquecito de madera

°Scratchy side of velcro/Parte que raspa de velcro
°Scrap of foamy/Pedazo de foamy
°Light color felt/Fieltro de color claro
°Glue gun/Pistola de silicón caliente

Step 1/Paso 1: Cover the wooden block with foamy and trim the edges - Cubre el bloquecito de madera con foamy y recorta las orillas.

Step 2/Paso 2: Attach the velcro and trim edges to fit block- Pega el velcro y recorta a la medida del block.
Step 3/Paso 3: Cut several pieces of felt in the size of the block-Corta varias piezas de fieltro en la medida de tu block.

Step 4/Paso 4: Attach to velcro and start using it with your favorite technique- Unelo al velcro y comienza a usarlo en tu técnica favorita.


You can use it to ink your paper and give it a distress look.
Lo puedes usar para aplicarle tinta a tu pápel y darle un look desordenado.

Or you can use it to apply alcohol ink to your favorite project- Ó para aplicar tinta de alcohol a tu proyecto favorito.

Tutorial: Create a scoop for glitter

Or flock, microbeads or anything powdery.

Tutorial:
Haz una cuchara para glitter, flocking, microcuentas o cualquier cosa semipolvorosa.

Here in Mexico glitter comes in bags, this is because the places that retail it buy a huuuge bucket of the before mentioned product and bag it into individual servings. So when you want to use is a mess which makes some people hate glitter, me included, I hate having glitter all over my fingers, clothes, stuff etc. But this is a very useful and easy way to fix the problem.

Aquí, en México, la diamantina/escarcha o como le digan viene en bolsitas, esto es porque los lugares que la venden compran un bote y la ponen en bolsitas en proporciones más pequeñas. Así que cuando quieres usarla es un desastre y hace que la gente la odie (incluyéndome), ya que cae muy mal tener diamantina en los dedos, ropa, cosas etc. Pero este es un modo muy sencillo y útil para resolver el problema.

You´ll need:
Vas a necesitar:

*A long container / Un recipiente alargado
*A scoop straw / Un popote con cucharita
*Silicon glue / Silicón líquido
*Scissors / Tijeras
*Glitter-Microbeads-Flocking / Diamantina-Microcuentas-Flock

1. Cut the straw a little smaller than the jar or bottle you plan to use, making sure the cut on the top is straight.

1. Corta el popote un poco más pequeño que el frasquito o botella que vayas a usar, asegurándote que el corte esté bien derecho.

2. Put some silicon glue in the center of the cap and attach the straw, leave it up drying overnight so is well attached.

2. Pon un poco de silicón en el centro de la tapa y pega el popote; déjalo secar durante la noche para que se pegue bien.

3. Cut a corner of your glitter baggie and carefully pour on bottle.

3. Con cuidado, corta una de las esquinas de la bolsita de diamantina y vierte el contenido en la botellita, cuidando de no derramarlo.

4. Attach the cap to the bottle and screw, as you can see part of the scoop is dipped in the bottle and you can use it anytime you want.

4. Ponle la tapita a la botella; como podrás ver, parte de la cucharita está dentro del glitter y de este modo lo puedes usar cuando quieras.

And now you are ready to pour glitter in anything you want without worriying of getting it on your fingers to pour it, after my experiment I checked and I had no glitter in sight but in my letter.

Y ahora estás lista para echarle diamantina a lo que quieras sin preocuparte en que se te pegue en los dedos; cuando hice la prueba noté que sólo había diamantina en mi letra y en ningún otro lugar.

Tada glittery and sparkly stuff without the mess!

¡Tadá, adornos brillantes y escarchaditos sin el desastre!

P.S. I added some micro beads to my glitter to give it a bit more texture and add some other color, but you can skip this, if you are not sure what micro beads are here is a picture.
