You know how....

You plan your day and then it turns out nothing like you planned? Well that seems to be the theme of the week, cause it was suppoused to be a very relaxed week, yeah right!!

Ok, vent over! Hey do you want to win a Cricut Expression? Well then head over the The Pink Donut and find the eggs the Easter Bunny hid in the posts and participate for a chance to win a Cricut Expressions, neat ha?

Ok Publicity over! I learned something new this week! In Mexico we have a type of paper called eggshell paper is a white textured very hard and thick cardstock, well my bigshot cuts that like buttah and so know I have my very own chipboard (it looks like chipboard, it feels like chipboard so it must be....chipboard) funny thing is it never ever crossed my mind to use this to cut, so Diana smart as she is mentioned this to me and yes awesome!!!

So besides cutting faux-chipboard and doing digi layouts for the Amazing Digi Scrapping Race I haven´t done a thing I want to try beading, been checking out videos at Plum and Verdigris the new channel at TvWeekly but the thing is I don´t wear jewelry either real or custom so what would I do with what I finish.

Ok some ramblings:
  • Is it wrong that I´m excited cause the New Kids on the Block are reuniting even if its for a split second?
  • Why is it when it comes to either shoes or scrapbook supplies, supplies always wins?
  • I´m counting the minutes to my days off next week, need some time off, is it my vacation time yet?
  • My monthly kit is not here yet, where is it? I want it!!!
  • Did you know I love Hellboy?, Man that is a good movie, love that huge red cat loving beast.
  • Littlest of the kitties has a paw hurt with has us giving him a pill every 24 hrs and trying to get him to lay down as much as possible, yes not realistic at all.
  • I want to get a tattoo so bad, even if its of a tiny thing like a little heart or something.
  • Tomorrow I must scrap, already looking for a project to do.
I made this layout today for the ADSR 3 and had to post it here, cause I simply love it, a few years back when I started using PSP and knew nothing about graphics program or whatever I am proud to say that learned it all on my own with tutorials that most of the time I didn´t understand but eventually I got it and was hooked and PSP 9 is my favorite of them all.

So the challenge was to have an interview with an object and I did it with my PSP 9 (my other love).

The journaling reads:

Me: Do you remember our first time?
PSP9: Of course I do, you were so nervous but eventually approached me and let go, from then on we were one.

M: Have I changed with you?
P: You are more confident and know me so well, feels good to be with you.

M: What is the best thing about you?
P: You know me, I´m reliable full of nice surprises never let you down and when you need help here I am for you.

M: Where do you see us in the future?
P: Happy, creating more stuff, growing together.

I simply love it, the look the journaling and yes my PSP 9 so I had to share it.

2 Peas Blog Challenge: What is the essential core of friendship?
TRUST.
I can say that as with a relationship if you don´t have trust you have nothing, and my very few friends I have I trust them completely, sure they are a bit crazy and some of them are weird but I love them like that and totally trust them.

Have a great sunday everybody!!!

How are my resolutions coming along.....

From 2peas:
If you set a New Years Resolution, How are you doing with it?

My resolutions this year are to craft more, any craft but do it more, I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish something, now I´m learning to love the process to get there, and I am doing very well, all of january I´ve been crafting almost daily, be it, doing digital scrapbooking, doing stuff for my Got Paint? class, or knitting I have been active with something and plan to keep it up.

I´m also trying to join challenges so I don´t have an excuse to stop and it really does help, yesterday along with a fellow pea joined The Amazing Digiscrapping Race, my partner Joy is really cool and in the very little time we chatted last night I learned a lot from here and had so much fun, so I know this is going to be a blast.

I´m also joining Thing-a-day wich is a challenge that for the 29 days of february you have to do something each day, cook, knit, draw, I want to say scrapbook or else and I´m sure this is a great idea too as I have several things I want to do and for x or y reason I don´t.

I did another digi-layout and as I was chatting with Joy last night I realized I really do mostly single photo layouts and I have to change that considering the ammount of pictures I have.

Shabby Princess Festival kit and me in the most beautiful hammack I´ve ever had I loved those little pompons on the sides, ahhh the memories.

Everybody have a great week and hope you create a lot and stay safe and warm.

Digital Scrapbooking

From 2 Peas:
Do you ever use scrap ideas to decorate a room in your home?

My house is practically undecorated, we like to keep it simple but in the scraproom we do have a couple of altered clipboards and woden letters and I plan to make more altered canvas with pictures of the furbabies to put on the walls.

Last night we lived momments of tragedy when we realized we had no internet connection, due some general error the service was down and styed down for a couple of hours, so what to do in times like that, I organized my folders in my computer and cleaned junk etc, and made some digi layouts that I really liked.

They are all digi kits from 2 peas (the free ones I must confess) and I´m realizing I have an scrapbook affair with Rhona Ferrer I love her stuff.

Yep, that´s me back when I was pretty, in Mexico is very popular to make a sort of frame with the faces of the kid when he is laughing, crying etc and those are the proofs or mine, yes I do have a crying one but can´t find it and the frame is back at my mom´s house, see those cheeks, yep I still got them, thanks mom!
Me again, I was a very happy kid, I truly love the colors of this kit and have used it in so many things, how do you all store your digit kits so you don´t forget that you have them?
And I made this one so I don´t forget the things that I really liked when I was 30, I´m very excited to be 30, my 20s, at least the first half where not so good so my 30s are going to be awesome (see I still have the cheeks lol) those pictures came out good too, totally self portraits, thank God for digital cameras.

Thank you so much for your positive thoughts for Wafé, he is doing better and totally out of the woods now, but he is no where near good having lost his wife and baby.

Hope everybody is having an awesome week, and today I plan to do more digiscrap, I tend to forget how much fun it is.
