This is something I made for my best friend a couple of months ago, it wasn´t her birthday or any special date, I made it for her because I thought it will cheer her up and make her feel good and it did, she loved it, she is a huge Hello Kitty fan so this is perfect for her, I loved making her feel happy and being nice always has that reward.
Esto es algo que le hice a mi mejor amiga hace un par de meses, no era su cumpleaños, ni ninguna fecha en especial, se lo hice por que pense que la haría sentir bien, y así fué, le encantó, ella es una fan de Hello Kitty y esto fué perfecto para ella, quedé tan contenta al hacerla sentir feliz, ser amable siempre tiene esa recompensa.

That is a very nice gift for your friend! I am a Hello Kitty fan too!! What will i do to be NICE? I am going to make some Thank You cards to send over seas to our soldiers fighting in Iraq. Some of them don't get any mail at all. Enjoy your weekend!!

Your friend is so lucky! :) What makes me nice? Hmmm. I guess that I look at every day as a chance to make someone feel good about themselves. A personal note, a compliment, a RAK, something. I know that everyone is facing some kind of battle, sometimes all they need to get through the day is that extra push :) Thanks for the chance!
I love Hello Kitty...this is so cute. What makes me Nice.....hmmmmmm...most of life I have done everything to help others...friends ,nieghbors...even strangers ...I believe if I can make a single person smile thats an achievement by itself.

What makes me nice is that I am always trying to make others happy. It doesn't have to be anything big, the small things like a smile and a compliment really go a long way.
That is so NICE of you! The gift for your friend, and offering a prize here! I know I'm not as NICE as I should be :-( But I do try to look out for other parents at the school gate, and if anyone looks a bit down or is standing on their own I go over and chat to try to cheer them up. And I bake goodies for the teachers to share, too.

I "think" what makes me nice is being sweet to everyone I come in contact with! We never know what one may be going through and your kind words may be just what they need to KNOW that someone does care!

how am i nice - I am a member of the Cricut card fairies. We send cards to those who need a little cheering up. I also send cards to my daughters and her friends in college - to keep their spirits up and we all like mail - right ! They are thrilled when they get them. Makes me feel good and want to continue - my second year into this.

Hmmm, how am I nice?....
One thing that I am doing at the moment is making a card for our local Child Health nurse to say thank you for all of her help and support over the past two years. I'm including a photo of her holding my babies because I know she would love that. Non-scrapbooking related, I often invite my husband's workmates who live on their own to come over for dinner so that they don't have to cook and don't have to eat alone.

I try to be nice by being kind to everyone I meet and SMILING! Not enough people smile these days!!!! I also send cards just because and being chocolate to meetings. Who doesn't love chocolate???

I teach free scrapbooking classes to senior citizens and veterans in my area. I don't know if that makes me nice, but it does mean that I care.

Sin querer estamos en la misma "onda", pues ahora recibo a mis clientes con una sonrisa y los atiendo con paciencia, cosa que ASI DEBE SER, pero que me costaba llevar a cabo.
Voy a aplicar ser amable "porque si" con las personas que me rodean, hace falta, no tomarse tan apecho las cosas, cuesta darnos cuenta que cada persona está "en su mundo" y muchas veces no es su intención ofendernos con sus actos, la vida es tan cortita!!!
Ahora disfruto estar en mi negocio porque comprendi que ser amable con mis clientes no sólo me da el beneficio econónomico, sino que me siento bien conmigo misma al ofrecerles una sonrisa amable en lugar de una cara larga y aburrida que parece decirles: "vete".

My Nice contribution is the fact that I volunteer at the local Senior Center and teach stamping and card making. I donate my time and my supplies and have a great time with a group of 15 women there as we stamp and papercraft our hearts out!
What makes you NICE? Good Question! I think my willingness to forgive, forget, and help others makes me nice. My husband is in the military and is deployed. I wanted to do something great while he was away so I joined his brigades care team to comfort military spouses in the event of a tragedy. I asked fellow bloggers to help me make and donate cards to contribute to the cause as well. Since I feel handmade means more then store bought. I also will be volunteering to make quilts for the armed services YMCA operation kid comfort. It's a program that makes quilts with photos of the deployed soldiers for their children to help them cope with the deployment. I could go on and on about NICE things, but I'd like to leave some room for others to post their comments too! Thanks for the nice chance to win some candy! Happy Scrapping!

I think I am nice because I usually put others ahead of myself. I also try to think about how I can share what I have with other people. One way I do that is when I take photos of my kids at events like school awards or plays or sports I try to take pictures of all the kids..and then when it is over I make a disk with them all on it for the parents. I enjoy taking pictures and practicing with my camera and get a thrill out of taking a good picture whether it is my kid or not.
