Sizzix shopping

Most crafters (scrapbookers, knitters, beaders etc) love shopping and I´m sure thats because of all the things we mentally plan as we see new materials, tools, textures and colors. One of my favorite places to shop is at Taller Mg y Ep, partly because they carry a very complete line of Sizzix products but mostly because the owners are incredibly crafty, talented and super sweet.

Today I had the chance to go and check out the new products specially for Valentine´s day and as always they have beautiful stuff and I took some pictures to show you how cool their little "atelier" is.

Hoy tuve la oportunidad de ir y ver los nuevos productos especialmente para día de San Valentín y como siempre tienen cosas muy bellas así que tome algunas fotos pare mostrarles lo padre que es su pequeño "atelier".

Many Sizzix dies (that I would love to own one day).
Muchos dados Sizzix (que me encantaría tener algun dia).

We left with a few dies and a couple of other cute things and can´t wait until we can meet with them again and do something crafty.

Nos quitamos con algunos dados y un par de cosillas extras y ojalá muy pronto nos podamos ver para hacer alguna manualidad.

Busy, busy, busy.....

But in a good way, most of thursday and all friday I spent it re-organizing the scraproom and while is not done by any means it looks a lot better now. Scrapping in a organized space without everything waiting to fall on you is a great feeling that I hope to continue having for years to come (one can always dream).

Today we had a craft meeting with our friends Erika and her mom Mary, they are representatives of Sizzix here in my city and of course have Sizzix dies to die for, and we went there to do some crafting, I took a canvas to alter with one of my favorite pictures.

Now if you know me very well you know I love Winnie Pooh, ever since I was like 3 he is my first love and all the times that I have been in DisneyWorld or Disneyland I had never had the opportunity to have my picture taken with him, now I also have a Pooh tattoed in my back at the height of my hip, the day we went to Disneyland I was determined to have my pic taken with him and the people that were with me were super nice and stood in line with me about 2 hrs, Pooh was leaving very soon and I was way behind, so my friends talked to the people and they let me get in the front and made me show him my tatoo, wich was a riot, he was super sweet and perfect and a little too friendly lol. And as you can see my pic with my first love was all I expected to be.

We had a great time crafting I managed to finish my altered canvas and semil altered a little can that holds my felt diecuts:

Here is Diana, Erika and Erika´s aunt Beatriz who was visiting from Mexico City, a very nice lady.

Doris and Mary working on their projects.

A die we got (is that not the sweetest thing ever!).

While we were crafting our friend Erika showed us her latest find the Press Stamp Kit by Fiskars and I wanted one well we all did, so after our meeting we went to Costco to get ours, if you don´t have one, go get one they are amazing.

I´ll talk more about this in my next post cause it deserves a separate post thats how cool that thing is!

Hope everybody is having a great week, crafting lots and having lots of fun.

We have our own....

BIG SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!

That is sooo exciting, we were waiting to get one when the time was right (meaning when we had the money) so when we did, we went ahead and got it, and it is amazing, I loooove it!!!

I´ve been doing cards and using textures and, just exploring it and using it and I´m so happy to have it, we also got the textures kit and I´ve been making cards with it, I´ll share them tomorrow, but yes is really cool, I love it and been taking lots of pictures to it, it photographs very well too.

So this is the Big Shot month and I shall use it as much as I can, and if you have any tips I´ll be very thankful!!

What a shopoholic!!!

Wow, this has been a very cool week craftwise at least, been shopping for something almost everyday and it feels so weird but oh so good too. First on tuesday I got a set of brushes perfect to use with my acrylics and since they were very cheap I don´t feel bad about using them.

The next day I caved in and bought a set of Prima paintables; Scallywag, wich I printed today they come in 6x6, so I printed them on the laser printer at the office and can´t wait to use them, and also bought a digital kit First Blush wich is simply stunning and also can´t wait to use it, I haven´t crafted at all with all the shopping and running errands and stuff.

Yesterday I got these cute little baskets and the squirrel bucket that works great for my desk and a couple of glasses for my diet coke in really cool colors and also a little sizzlit die that looks mega cute and I can use it with my Sidekick, (the kitty I already had it).

Then I realized I need a case to put all my paint stuff, brushes, paint etc and went looking for one, I could not find one that fit my necessites but I did find this see trough little toolbox that now holds all my regular crafting stuff, it has 3 compartiments and I love it.

I also got some watercoulours really nice brand and they were 50% off, how could that be a better deal, I loved it, I go trough watercolors like crazy so this is really neat.

Then today I went to Walmart in the search of the paint box and found this cute little MP3 speaker dock, it was about 8 dollars and could not pass specially since is fucsia and now I have it playing and it works amazing, it´s so cool, you can plug it trough a USB port to the pc and then youi don´t need batteries or a plug, sweet!!!

Last but not least this is my latest addiction, it is so good, so yummy so rich, its a bit better but with a orangy taste sooo good, if you have it close to you I invited you to try it, I´m going to get a couple for the weekend you know to get really inspired.

We also got something else, something big, something really cool but that deserves its own post so very soon I´ll tell you what is it. Can you guess? Big, very cool and super usefull!
