My plans for Valentine´s...

2peas challenge:
Are you doing anything special for Valentine´s Day, if so share it with us...

So funny I was going to write about this today and it is the challenge from 2peas.
First some background, we work with my sister in law who is a MK Director and has several Directors under her that always request the weirdest things, like last year when one of our favorites asked us to please make her something so her daughter could take some treats as Valentine´s to her school, so we being the creative people we are made some sort of marshmallow and gummie lollipops, nothing out of the ordinary.

This year we planned in advance and Diana came up witht the idea of making marshmallow and rice krispies treats but in lollipops, wich seemed like a really good idea except I done that before and I remember is tricky and way sticky (I don´t like sticky things) but I said cool and we made our first test batch
They turned out very yummy a bit too sweet since we could not find regular rice krispies and had to use the chocolate kind. And just as I remembered it was a sticky mess, but I´ll survive, specially since I want to eat them again.

So we are set for that, got the regular rice krispies, lollipop sticks, marshmallow etc.

Our friend Silvia who has a dog/cat shelter also asked for help cause she thougt it was a good idea to sell Valentines cookies to raise money for the shelter, and I said yes cause is something very close to my heart, so I´m also baking 500 sugar cookies and decorating them, so feel very overwhelmed but happy too that I can do something to help.

On Valentine´s day I´m probaby scrapping since Diana already said she has a date with "Bobby" The new season of Law & Order, Criminal Intent premieres that day and she is watching it, she is all over Vincent D´Onofrio, so I´m free, maybe I should plan an online crop or something.

So my plans are baking, cooking and eating, yuumy!!!!

wow...I am such a lousy cook! I envy those who can. I also think that anything you can deep fry or put on a stick...well..its just improved. Now...is there a way to batter and deep fry your rice krispies on a stick? Cause that would probably taste like heaven. *giggle hungrily*
